Roadmap out of lockdown

February 2021

The Prime Minister has set out the Government's roadmap for a cautious easing of national restrictions. A useful summary is pictured below while you can read the full roadmap on GOV.UK here.

From 8th March, people in England will see restrictions start to lift and the government’s four-step roadmap offer a route back to a more normal life. All the dates in the roadmap are subject to change depending on the current data and on four specific tests, while there will be a minimum of five weeks between each step.

The Government will also continue to support families and businesses throughout the steps set out in the roadmap - details of which will be set out by the Chancellor in the Budget on 3 March.

Now and at each future stage we must continue to be careful and follow the rules in place to ensure that this is the last lockdown. Please make sure to check the GOV.UK coronavirus page for the most up-to-date guidance as we move through each step in the coming months.
