Jonathan holds regular advice surgeries in Woking on Friday afternoons so that constituents can meet with him face-to-face and bring their problems or concerns to his attention. Each appointment lasts for 20 minutes and, at the end of your meeting, Jonathan will let you know what course of action he will take.
Please note that demand for surgery appointments is always very high and that appointments are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if your problem is urgent, Jonathan will always try to progress your case without an appointment.
To book a place at one of Jonathan’s surgeries, please contact jonathan.lord.mp@parliament.uk and include your full name and constituency address, and a contact telephone number in your email. Jonathan also asks that you provide a brief outline of the issue that you would like to raise with him. Alternatively, you can use the contact form here.
Please note that long-held parliamentary convention holds that MPs don't intervene in their colleagues' constituencies and that they can only act on behalf of their own constituents. For this reason, Jonathan is unable to take matters up for non-constituents.
Surgeries are usually held at Churchill House, Chobham Road, Woking, GU21 4AA. Unfortunately, there is no parking at the office, but there are a couple of public car parks nearby at Brewery Road (‘under’ the WWF Living Planet Centre) and Victoria Way (next to the ‘Double Tree’ by Hilton Hotel).
Please note that visitors to Churchill House will need to climb one step to access the building. If you have specific mobility requirements, please do mention them when you book your appointment. Jonathan is always happy to make alternative arrangements to meet his constituents in person to discuss important matters.
