Jonathan Lord MP pledges his support to increase maximum sentences for animal cruelty at Battersea event
Jonathan Lord MP was delighted to attend Battersea’s reception on Wednesday 12 February to show support for changing the law to increase the maximum sentences for animal cruelty.
Unfortunately, due to the rainfall which is forecast to fall in already saturated catchments, there is potential for flooding within the Woking area over the next few days.
Jonathan believes that the current strikes taking place on South Western Railway are completely unnecessary and a disgraceful disruption of services to all those train users who rely on them.
He has written to the relevant parties urging a resumption of talks and an immediate end to the strike

Jonathan recently joined staff and residents of Mayford Grange retirement village to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
